SCBA Members and Friends,

By the time you get this news letter, your Board of Directors will have had a strategic planning session courtesy of Nancy Davis and facilitator David Stewart of Georgia Power. This should put us on track for a very productive year, and we will keep the momentum going.

Speaking of momentum, my thanks to Wayne Dodd for keeping the SCBA moving at a fast pace this past year, and in previous years!  We look forward to a year of continued great programs, community service, and helping our members succeed in business.

This is a wonderful time to be in business in this community. I have lived here since 1956, and have watched our area grow from a sleepy little country community to a vibrant, busy, urban area loaded with the challenges of growth. At the top of our newsletter it says “Together we can make a difference”. I believe this is true when an organization such as the SCBA works toward common goals. Please let me know about your concerns, ideas, and dreams for your business so we can be one of your assets!
